Colors of SPORTS GALA 2017’s

Govt.Postgraduate College Mandian Abbottabad arranged ‘Students’ Week’ (Sports Gala) for BS students from 10 to 15 April 2017. Prof. Jamil Akhter Awan, Chief-Patron SPLAC (Society for the Promotion of Literature, Art & Culture), organized one week-long Sports Gala. Inauguration ceremony

Inauguration ceremony of one-week sports gala was held in Govt. Postgraduate College Mandian Abbottabad on 10th April 2017. The event is being organized by Society for the Promotion of Literature , Art and Culture (SPLAC) under the chairmanship of Prof. Jamil Akhter Awan. Addressing the inaugural session, Prof.Ghulam Rasool, Principal GPGC Mandian, stressed upon the need for co-curricular activities in educational institutions.

Prize Distribution Ceremony:Sports Gala GPGC Mandian Abbottabad

Closing ceremony of week-long Sports Gala 2017 was held on 15th April in College Main Auditorium. Students were awarded certificates ,medals and trophies for their excellent performance in different categories of games and sports. Prof.Jamil Akhter Awan, Chief Organizer of the Event, welcomed the guests to this closing ceremony. Prof. Taj Muhammad,Coordinator JMC and Principal GPGC No.1, was the chief guest on the occasion. Other distinguished guests included Prof. Noor-ud-Din , Ex Principal GPGC Mandian Abbottabad, Prof. Murtaza Syed Sahib and Dr. Amjad from COMSATS Abbottabad. Variety of interdepartmental competitions were held in which students from CS & IT, Zoology, IR, Sociology, Microbiology and Bioinformatics participated. In his Vote-of-Thanks address, Prof. Ghulam Rasool,Principal Govt.Postgradute College Mandian Abbottabad, thanked the guests for sparing time from their busy schedules and gracing the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The principal reiterated his pledge to patronize co-curricular activities alongside academic pursuits of students. Chief Guest appreciated the efforts put in by the staff and faculty of Mandian College.
